iPhone 5

Today Apple came out with a stunning new iPhone, the iPhone 5. Probably the most noticeable difference is that it is 18 % thinner than the iPhone 4S , also it is 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. Also, if you are holding the iPhone 5 you may notice the all-new back, with the black iPhone 5 it has a slate back and it feels very matte. If you are holding the white iPhone , 5 the back will be silver and very shiny.
You might also notice that the iPhone 5 has a 4-inch retina display.  The phone grows in length but not width so it is just as easy to hold your iPhone 5 as it is the iPhone 4S. Also the iPhone 5 has ultra-fast wireless it uses LTE to be so fast, LTE can be faster than the average WiFi connectivity.
Apple has incorporated the all-new A6 chip in the iPhone 5. It is up to two times faster than the iPhone 4S which used the A5 chip. The A6 also gives its users graphics that are twice as fast as the A5. While
doing all of that the A6 still gives you even better battery life, up to 8 hours of browsing, up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 10 hours of video playback. The iPhone 5 uses a new lighting connector  which is much smaller which is one of the reasons that iPhone 5 is so much lighter and thinner. The iPhone 5 will go on sale on September 21st and sells for $199 for 16 GB, $299 32 GB, $399 64 GB.

Apple has come out with two great new apps: Find My Friends and Cards.

You can have people temporarily know where you are or friends that can know where you are all the time. If you want to go off the grid for a few moments you can just slide “hide from followers.” Find My Friends is free and you can get it on the App store today.

Lets say you went on a vacation and you really want your Aunt to see a picture of you swimming. Well, with Cards you can create a beautiful card with a picture and text from your iPhone. Also, Apple will place the card in a wonderful envelope and send it for $2.99 in the US and $4.99 outside of the US. Cards is on the App store today and it is free (not including the cards.)

Apple’s 5th Avenue Store is Getting a Facelift

If you have been to the Apple Store in the last few months, you have seen that there has been a plywood structure all over the store– instead of the beautiful glass cube.  Apple has now posted on the side of the plywood wall: “We’re simplifying the Fifth Avenue cube. By using larger, seamless pieces of glass, we’re using just 15 panes instead of 90.”

This is what people think that the 5th Avenue Apple Store will look like.
